"In the tantric techniques of Tibetan Buddhism, we neither avoid emotions nor view them as illusion. We learn, instead, to transform them."
We do this through meditation involving visualization and mantra, always with the goal of ultimately being of benefit to others.
Please join us for our group practice on Wednesdays, done in traditional style in Tibetan,
led by Nyungne Lama. We start with the Chenrezig Sadhana, which involves
chanting, visualization and mantra meditation to increase compassion.
Chod practice follows, with the emphasis on cutting through attachments
and reflecting on impermanence.
We finish with Mahakala puja, a powerful practice that helps further conditions
beneficial to our meditation.
